As everyone remembers, Maryland gov O'Malley signed a bill last month that removed death penalties for acquiring marijuana on a behalf of ill family member.

Past Monday, Maryland Senate approved a Medical Marijuana bill by a vote of 42 to 4. After that, on Wednesday, gov. spokeswoman, confirmed that gov Marley O'Malley will sign a bill that will make Maryland the 19th state, that allows Medical Marijuana for patient with a doctor prescription.

However Maryland marijuana advocates predict that the law not going to be affective till the 2016.. However, this move will allow medical clinics and hospitals to take a closer look at marijuana as a medical prescription, and decide either they want to go forward with it or not. So by the time when the bill will be complete and approved, the medics will be ready to run the program with confidence.
