Two weeks ago, millions of people were watching Coachella festival live in California and stream from every corner of the US. Everyone enjoyed the raps of Snoop Dog, Dre, special guests Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, 50 cent, Eminem and ...Tupac...

Yeah, you heard it right! A hologram of the world-famous rapper, who was killed in 1996, began by walking on a stage and amping up the crowd with the words "What the f..ck is up, Coachella?" followed by two of his classics "Hail Mary" and "2 of Americaz Most Wanted".

Of course, time to time, the hologram was moving unnaturally and floating side to side, but it general the performance was awesome! Under the direction of his friends, Snoop  and Dre, everything from his voice to his movements, were created from original footage of the rapper.

Using Tupac image was a great decision, as it wowed the crowed and honored his life and career. Plus, who wouldn't pay to see some of the greatest musicians back on stage? Anyone would, but probably it's still better to keep past as past for the future music industry.

The Tupac hologram, or better say, James Cameron's Digital Domain - owned image and projection technology, apparently cost about $400.000 to produce. It also required the purchasing of rights to Tupac's likeness together with the songs he rapped on stage. This definitely requires some serious connections and lot's of green cash..

Enjoy the Tupac's performance video and always remember the best ones
