Even evangelist Pat Robertson against marijuana criminalization!

Pat Robertson, the famous evangelist and broadcaster of "The 700 Club", the latest and maybe the most surprising person to come out in support of legalizing marijuana.

During "the 700 Club" show, on his Christian Broadcasting Network, he said he would weaken the law on marijuana use, and that it's liberals fault that so many young Americans are in jail for use and possession of really small amount of drug. He was shocked by the amount of young people who is sitting in jail and turning into criminals! He spoke out against locking people up for possession of marijuana and he noted it was costing the US billions of dollars.

Robertson said "I really believe we should treat marijuana the way we treat alcohol. I've never used marijuana and don't intend to, and I don't approve of drug use, but it's just one of those things that I think: this war of drugs just hasn't succeed".

In an interview with The New York Times, Robertson said he not only supports legalizing marijuana, but that he absolutely supports the Colorado and Washington state marijuana legalization ballot initiatives on the 2012 ballot.
